  • Our logo is an ideogram for a seed.  Embraced by the communal circle of life, within is held the individual and the sprouting of an idea. 

    The seed reaches outward to touch the cycle of existence; the circle reaches inward, an umbilicus. 

    This is the connection, the JOINT.  Each project is nurtured by its relationship to the larger environment.

  What is pilipono? 
  • Pilipono is what we work toward in every endeavor.

    pilipono = a tight-fitting connection ; well-suited, well-matched ; close-fitting

    pili = 1. to cling, to touch, to join, be close to; close relationship, relative; belonging to.  2. a grass formerly used for thatching houses; thatch.  3. to refer, relate, apply.

    pono = 1. goodness, uprightness, morality, excellence, prosperity, equity, welfare, benefit, fitting, true nature, just, virtuous, beneficial, in perfect order, necessary, proper, righteous.  2. completely, properly, rightly, well.  3. Property, resources, belongings, necessities.
